Here is the Mother's Day card I created using Lawn Fawn's Fairy Friends stamp set. It's so cute and whimsical and perfect for this special occasion.
I used copic markers to colour in the fairy and flowers. To make it look like the fairy is holding the flower, I used an x-acto knife to cut part of the fairy's arm and outlined the edges with a black marker to make it look complete. The chevron frame and the front hill is propped up with foam to give it dimension.
These are the materials I used:
- Border Frame - Paper from Recollections Chevron Cardstock paper and cut with Double Stitch Diecut from AliExpress
- Polka Dot Hills - Paper from Recollections Primary Pin Dot Cardstock paper and cut with SimonSaysStamp Stitched Slopes and Hills
- Flowers & Fairy - Coloured with Copic Markers: RV00/RV21/RV13, V04/V06/V09, Y11/Y13/Y35, YR04/YR07/R14/R29
- Background - Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade and Worn Lipstick
- Thank you - Versafine Onyx Pigment Ink and Zing Clear embossing powder
The same technique is used on this card.
