Thinking of You ...

Hope you had a wonderful Sunday. It's natnatbot again with another card. I was browsing around instagram and saw so many beautiful watercolor floral cards that inspired me to make one too. This card I made features the Lotus stamp set from Waffle Flower and the Zig clean color real brush pens.
To create this card, I used Versamark ink to stamp out the images on watercolor paper. Then, I used white embossing powder and heat set it. I like using embossing powder when it comes to water coloring so that my colour stays within the lines. I used the Zig clean colour real brush pens in 21 Light Carmine, 51 Lemon Yellow and a water brush to colour in the lotus. For the stem, I used 48 Emerald Green and 49 Green Shadow. Then I outlined the flower with 302 Haze Blue.
With Versamark ink again, I stamped the sentiment and the dragonfly images and also heat set it with embossing powder. Then with Zig 21 Light Carmine, I scribbled it on a acrylic block and put water on it so that I can flick little splatters on the panel. To finish it off, I cut a half inch strip of cardstock with gold foil and glued it on the left side of the panel. With double sided foam tape, I adhered the watercolour panel on the card. That completes this simple and delicate looking card.

Hip Hip Hooray

Happy Wednesday. I just wanted to share with you a quick card using the Zig clean color real brush pens and features the Neat & Tangled Big Top Birthday stamp. I have to say I really like these water based markers. I splurged and got the 80 pen set. I couldn't decide which colours to leave behind so it was easier just getting the whole set.
I am not used to working with watercolor so I stamped the images and used embossing powder then heat set it so the watercolors can stay within its boundaries.
Then I worked on the panel that was same size as the frame. With painters tape, I masked off the sun ray and ink blended it using distress ink. Afterwards, I flicked little splatters of colors by combining the zig markers with water. Lastly, I adhered the frame and images with foam tape and glued on some star sequins.
That completes the card.

Heartfelt Condolences

Hi there. I'm back with another card for you that features Avery Elle's Banner and Wreath stamp set. It's a sympathy card and the layout was inspired by this week's Freshly Made Sketch challenge.
To create this card, I first stamped out the images with my copic friendly Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured it in with copic markers. I don't have the coordinating dies so I used my Scan n' Cut machine to do the work for me.
Next, I die cut a panel from white cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp. This will be my background panel. With painters tape, I masked off the sides leaving the center opened. I stamped the center using MFT's Diagonal Stripes background stamp and 3 different colour inks to create an ombre effect. Last thing to do on the panel was to die cut the 2 circles using a stitched circle die.
To assembe the card, I glued the flowers around the arc of the circle and used double sided foam tape for the banner to give it some more depth. Then, with more foam tape, I put it all over the back of the panel and adhere it to a lavender cardstock panel. For the final touch, I added wink of stella inside the circles for a little sparkle.
That completes the card. I hope you enjoyed it.

Giddy Up - Stamp Ink Paper Challenge 95 - A Sketch

Happy Sunday everyone. Today, I like to share with you a card I made for the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge 95.  This card features Mama Elephant's Rowdy Raccoons stamp set.
Here is the sketch for the challenge to create the card from. You can click on the sketch if you like to learn more about the challenge or to participate.
First, I stamped the raccoon image with Memento tuxedo black ink and coloured it in with Copics markers. With scissors, I cut out the image leaving a small white border around it. Then, I used a Simon Says Stamp small stitched rectangle die to cut out a panel out of white cardstock and ink blended the edges with distress ink in walnut stain. Once that was done, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink and coloured in the letters with a red colour copic marker.
Using the largest stitched rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp, I cut out a panel from kraft cardstock. This will be the a panel with the sun rays. I wish I had a stencil for this but I am going to show you an alternative way to create sun rays.
I die cut the sun die using MFT Die-namics Sunny Skies from some scrap cardstock making sure to leave a lot of white space around the cut out. I used the negative image to ink blend with distress oxide ink on the kraft cardstock. After that was done, I just followed the lines of the rays and used painters tape as my guide to ink blend the rest of the sun ray. I really like how the distress oxide ink looks on the kraft cardstock.
I die cut a A2 size panel from black cardstock and adhered the kraft sun ray panel with my ATG. Then I taped the smaller stitched panel at an angle to match the sketch and added the raccoon image with double sided foam tape to make it pop up. Last finishing touches was the addition of glossy accents to sentiment, horse and lasso.
That completes this card. I hope you enjoyed it.

Here are the supplies used on this card:
- Mama Elephant - Rowdy Raccoons
- My Favorite Things Die-namics - Sunny Skies

Enjoy The Ride Charlene

Hey Everyone. Happy Thursday. Today, I like to share with you a birthday slider card for the Lawn Fawnatics interactive card challenge. It features the Lawn Fawn's Bicycle Built for You stamp. I just adore this stamp because you can do so many things with it.
To set the scene, I combined the banner from Lawn Fawn's Blue Skies stamp set, the trees from Avery Woodland Wonders and the grass from Lawn Fawn's Grassy Border die. All this combined makes this really cute slider card.
I started with double stamping all the images first with memento ink and then with versamark ink so I can apply clear embossing powder and heat set it. Then I coloured the images with copic markers and cut them all out by hand. I really wished I had the coordinating dies at that moment.
Afterwards, I die cut two panels out of white and green cardstock with the largest stitched rectangle die. Using distress inks, I did some ink blending on the the white panel. With the green panel, I die cut out two pieces of grass with the grassy border die. The larger piece would have the sliding track.

The banner is from the Blue Skies stamp set. I stamped out the heart and letters on each flag. Then with a needle and pink embroidery thread, I thread the top of each flag connecting it to each other and leaving long strands on each end. The banner comes with the flags connected so after it was threaded I used scissors to cut the connecting paper making sure not to snip the string.
Time to put the card together. First I glued the trees and the lighter grass panel on the ink blended panel. Then I mounted the sliding track panel with single foam tape and attached the bicycle. Lastly, the front grass panel has triple foam tape so it doesn't interfere with the bicycle sliding back and forth.
That completes my slider card. Hope you enjoyed it!

Here are the materials used on the card:
- Lawn Fawn - Bicycle Built For You
- Lawn Fawn - Blue Skies
- Lawn Fawn - Party Animal
- Lawn Fawn - Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables

Have a Beary Special Birthday! - MFT Color Challenge #66

Happy early birthday to my cousin!!! It's a birthday card that features the bear from the MFT Beary Special Birthday stamp set and the color combination by the latest MFT Color Challenge.
For the challenge, we were inspired to use the following colours: light orange, cranberry, teal and orange.
I started off with ink blending an ombre effect on the panel with distress ink in Spiced Marmalade. Then, stamped a snow falling background with Memento Luxe ink. Since this a pigment ink, I quickly added clear embossing powder on top and heat set it.
I created the banner using the Stitched Banner Alphabet die. I die cut the letters in teal cardstock and die cut some blank individual banners in a light orange cardstock to be used as the backing so the letter will show through. I glued them together and adhered it on top a strand of embroidery thread. Then, I glued the banner on the card and taped the thread ends on the back of the panel.

Next, I stamped out the images and coloured it in with copic markers. I used wink of stella and glossy accents on the balloon, present and party hat. Once dried, I adhere it to the card with double sided foam tape to prop it up. Lastly, with copic markers I drew shadows under the bear. That completes this card. Hope you enjoyed it.
Here are the materials used on the card:
My Favorite Things - Beary Special Birthday
My Favorite Things - Stitched Banner Alphabet
- Lawn Fawn - Snow Cool
- Lawn Fawn - Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables
- Distress Inks in Spiced Marmalade

Make a Wish !

Happy Sunday! I like to share a card with you that was inspired by the all-square sketch from this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge and the colour palette: red, yellow, green and aqua blue from the current Color Throwdown. This card features the Lawn Fawn's Fairy Friends stamp set.
To create this card, I first started with an A2 size cardstock panel that was die cut from the largest stitched rectangle die. Then, I used the ink smooshing technique with distress inks in Candied Apple, Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass. Next, was to die cut out the rounded square frames from white cardstock and ink blended with the distress inks in each colour. Afterwards, I stamped out the images, die cut them and coloured them in with copic markers. Then, I stamped the sentiment 'Make a Wish' from the Lawn Fawn Party Animal stamp set. It was double stamped first with memento tuxedo black ink then with versamark ink to be heat set with clear embossing powder.
Lastly, was to glue everything to the card panel. I applied double sided foam tape on the red and blue square frame to prop it up and give it some dimension on the card. Then, I adhere it to the card along with the flower and fairy images. As a final touch, I added clear wink of stella on the fairy wings.
That completes this simple card.
Here are the materials used on the card:
- Lawn Fawn - Fairy Friends
- Lawn Fawn - Party Animal
- Lawn Fawn - Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables
- My Favorite Things - In & Out Stitched Rounded Square STAX
